This page provides general guidance for Sparkle Occasions by Shirlee clients. Your individual proposal, invoice, or signed agreement contains the specific amounts, deadlines, cancellation provisions, and rescheduling terms that apply to your event. If those documents differ from this page, the signed agreement controls.
Retainers, deposits, and scheduled payments
Any retainer, deposit, installment amount, balance, and due date will be stated in your proposal, invoice, or agreement. A date is not considered reserved until the booking requirements stated in those documents have been completed.
Late or missed payments
If a required payment is not received by the date stated in the applicable agreement or invoice, services, purchasing, reservations, or event preparation may be delayed or paused as permitted by the client agreement. Contact Sparkle Occasions promptly if you anticipate a payment issue.
Client cancellations
Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing as soon as possible. Refundability of any amounts already paid, and any remaining balance that may be due, are determined by the signed agreement and by costs or commitments already incurred for the event.
Rescheduling
Requests to move an event to a different date are subject to availability and may require an updated agreement, revised pricing, new vendor arrangements, or additional charges when costs have changed. Payments already applied to the original event will be handled according to the signed agreement.
Vendor and third-party costs
Some third-party purchases, rentals, venue charges, custom items, travel costs, or vendor deposits may be nonrefundable or subject to separate cancellation rules. Those amounts are subject to the applicable third party’s policies and the client agreement.
How to request a change
Use the website contact form or your established client communication channel to request cancellation or rescheduling. Include your name, event date, and a brief description of the requested change. A request is not final until it is acknowledged and any required revised terms are completed.
